Former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane has waxed lyrical about the display of Arsenal signing Thomas Partey in Arsenal's one nil win over his former side on Sunday.
The Ghanaian midfielder in tandem with Mohammed El Neny provided a shield in front of the Arsenal back four.
Partey was elegant in the midfield, breaking play at will and initiating attacks for the gunners and was duly awarded man of the match by Arsenal fans after the game.
Roy Keane who had several battles in the midfield with his old Arsenal adversary sees similarities between his old foe Patrick Viera and Thomas Partey.
The win for Arsenal on Sunday was the club's first victory over Manchester United since doing so in 2006.
Keane believes Partey can emulate the standard set by former Arsenal captain Patrick Viera.
"He was outstanding. He's obviously no mug having played in big games. When you watch a player live that's when you can judge a player and the more I look at him the more I wish he was in the United midfield. He's big, strong and aggressive - and he can pass it forward. He can deal with the ball," Keane told Skysports.
"I had my battles with Vieira and I think this kid has got a chance of matching what Patrick used to do."
It was Thomas Partey's third Premier League game since joining them on deadline day from Athletico Madrid.
