Ajax manager Eric Ten Hag has been singing the praises of new signing Kudus Mohammed with his terrific form in pre-season.
He says the player has lived up to expectations so far and has clearly showed his potential ahead of the season opener on Sunday.
The Ghanaian midfielder joined Ajax from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland for a transfer record and has been turning heads with his performance with performance so far in pre-season having scored once in five matches.
Ajax will open their season in the Dutch Eridivisie against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday and Erik Ten Hag is confident his two new signings Anthony and Kudus will live up to expectation.
"They certainly live up to expectations, they clearly show their potential. The pair already seem to feel at home at Ajax," he told ajax.nl.
“That speaks very much for the group of players, that they are open to new players and they help. Sometimes there is also internal competition, but it is clear that they are well received and that there is a whole team around it.''
Kudus is expected to make his debut today against Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie opener.
